      Here are SKH’s new PhD students

      We are pleased to welcome five new PhD students to SKH. Together they form an international group whose research projects cover a wide range of artistic disciplines and will contribute to developing and challenging artistic practice both nationally and internationally.

    • SSEA wins the contract to build SKH's building in Slakthusområdet

      It is now clear who will build the Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH) building in Slakthusområdet, with occupancy in 2030. Following the procurement of the turnkey contract, an agreement has been signed with SSEA, which on behalf of Atrium Ljungberg and in collaboration with SKH, will build the new building.

    Stockholm University of the Arts, SKH, offers education and research within the fields of Circus, Dance, Film and Media, Opera and Theatre. It is both one of the oldest higher education institutions in Stockholm – and one of the youngest.

      Tempo Documentary Festival 2025

      Tempo Documentary Festival 2025 takes place 3–9 March and is one of the highlights of the year, we think. This year, SKH is hosting an industry mingle and co-organising a discussion on VR as a tool in different storytelling techniques.

Through an active dialogue with external partners and close cooperation with universities around the world, we strengthen the quality of our education and research and give students and staff the possibility to develop.

      Targeted study support

      At SKH, everyone should be able to study on equal terms and have the same opportunities to conduct their studies regardless of functional variation. If you as a student have a functional variation that affects your ability to study, you are entitled to targeted study support.
