Finding your own voice – after 36 years, Pia Olby bids farewell
2026-03-05When Pia Olby began teaching at what was then the National Academy of Mime and Acting (Teaterhögskolan), she came straight from a life as a freelance cultural worker. Since then, she has helped generations of acting students find their own artistic expression. Now she is retiring, but continues to create and make music herself.
Alumni film opened the Tempo Festival
2026-03-04Angelica Ruffier, film alumna, opened the Tempo Festival with ‘La Belle Année’, recently honoured at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film grew out of her graduation project here at the school.
