Hanging from their aerial rope, 8 meters of void under their feet, two women are questioning fear.

With absurdity, humour and poetry, they take over the stage, as their bodies interlock, overlap, merge and then detach.

PERLINE AND LOUNA

Perline and Louna both started in the circus at a very young age, in France. After high school, they decided to professionalize in this domain and both integrated ECJV, a circus preparatory school, in Amiens, where they met. Having a lot of fun on their aerial rope, and sharing the same artistic vision, they continued their training and adventures together all the way to Stockholm University of the Arts.

Today, mixing circus and physical theater, Louna and Perline like exploring how two bodies on one single rope can travel, how they can carry and hold each other suspended on this cotton tube. Their complicity takes them along a journey between laughter and tears.

When she doesn’t do rope, Perline is also very interested in object manipulation, clown, bricolage, accordion, and many other things!

As for Louna, besides circus, she also likes to express herself through movement, dance, and words!
