caterina daniela mora jara (b. 1988) is an Argentinian-Chilean performing artist and researcher from the region known as Patagonia by expeditionary colonisers. She is currently pursuing a PhD at SKH.
Trained in both academic and folkloric dance, her practice engages with translation and migration as critical frameworks to investigate acts of embodiment in dance. Her work interrogates modes of production and the enduring colonial legacy embedded in the representation and circulation of Western dance forms.
She married to obtain a residency permit in Europe, does not have an Instagram account, and has never visited an IKEA store.
