Ellen Røed to begin her term as vice-chancellor

On 25 April, the Government appointed Ellen Røed as the new vice-chancellor of Stockholm University of the Arts. Ellen Røed is a professor of film and media at SKH, and has held the appointment of pro-vice-chancellor since 2022.

Until the end of the year, Erik Gandini will take over as pro-vice-chancellor on an interim basis. The appointment of regular pro-vice-chancellor is still under recruitment. Erik Gandini is a professor of documentary film at SKH.

An internal installation ceremony for the new vice-chancellor will be held on 27 August.
