Wednesday seminar: VIS Issue 15 + event
This seminar is the last session of the Wednesday seminar series this spring “Processes of Documentation”, where we explore a wide range of processes of documentation emerging within the field of artistic research. Here you can learn more about the series.
A warm welcome to the final Wednesday seminar of the spring, where we meet the editorial committee of VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research and discuss the latest published issue: VIS #15, with the theme “LANGUAGE/ LANGUAGED/ LANGUAGING”.
The seminar begins with a poetic collective medley on language and artistic research. We then explore the issue’s expositions and invite several contributing artists to join a conversation. The seminar concludes with an open public discussion, where there is room for questions, reflections, and perspectives.
We wrap up at 15:00 with a mingle, drinks, and snacks.

About VIS #15
VIS Issue 15 was published on 19 March 2026. The issue contains eight contributions that in various ways center on language. Contributions that move with language or against it, and that approach language as a site for ethical and aesthetic experimentation and reflection. Read more about it here.
