Savas Boyraz’s final seminar “Landscape of…”
The doctoral research project Eye of the Mountain explores the relationships between language, landscape, animality, and machine subjectivities within a militarized geography. Through oral histories, ecological transformations, military image regimes, and sonic archives, the project investigates landscapes as sites of political inscription and contested memory. Combining filmmaking, sound, archival inquiry, and speculative writing, it traces the intersections of colonial violence, ecological disruption, and endangered cultural forms.
The final seminar "Landscapes of...." will explore relational aesthetics of the research, through its artistic outputs and documentation strategies.
