Humor in Movement

During the spring, the course Humor in Movement: Physical Comedy Engaging Audiences has taken place on SKH. The course is a collaboration between SKH and Clowns Without Borders, with the goal of strengthening the role of physical comedy in the performing arts.

In this course, students with a background in movement-based performing arts were able to explore the possibilities of play and physical comedy. Through practical exercises in clowning, presence and interaction, they have developed their artistic expressive power through physical comedy – and now it is time for graduation performances!

The course has included exploring concepts such as playfulness, sensitivity and humor, and how these can be used to create strong audience encounters.
