Conflicted Embodiment: Practices of Making Public
The practices comprise:
1. The Bastard-rather-than-Cheap Solo Lecture-Performance Compendium
2. A workshop on Conflicted Embodiment (no previous dance experience required)
3. The Bastard-rather-than-Cheap Group Lecture-Performance with Conflicted Embodiment
4. The launch of the written component of the Conflicted Embodiment PhD project, together with its archival documentation on the DiVA and Research Catalogue platforms.
Practical Information
_ Fika and breaks: Yes, there will be both.
_ Proximity: Yes, there will be moments of physical proximity.
_ Touch: Yes, touch may occur, always based on prior consent.
_ Language: English, with interjections in Swedish, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
_ Clothing: Comfortable clothing is recommended, as we will spend several hours in a dance studio.
_ Shoes: Street shoes are not permitted inside Studio 16. Clean indoor shoes, flip-flops, or socks may be worn inside.
_ Documentation: Participation will be recorded for personal documentation purposes only and will not be used for any form of publication.
_ The venue is fully accessible.
