Place, Event, Encounter
In the course Place, Event, Encounter, opera students in their final year of the bachelor's program have explored how classical opera repertoire with new interpretations can engage audiences in an expanded stage space.
By testing, challenging, and embracing their ideas and thoughts about the space and the encounter with the audience, the students find new and interesting opportunities to develop their own artistic expression.
NOTE The performance has several venues in the room, so the audience will move short distances.
Repertoire includes Ravel, Mozart, Bizet, Rossini, Giordano, and Gounod.
