Exchange studies in Performing Arts

Courses offered!

SKH offers Acting Students from our Partner Universities to follow the curriculum of the Bachelor's Programme in Performing Arts. Find more information on the structure and content of the programme here.

NB! The language of instruction is Swedish.

Two (2) courses are offered for exchange students Spring semester 2026:

Presentation of Work within the Performing Arts

  • Total of ECTS: 7.5
  • Erasmus+ Short-term mobility; studies both on site at SKH in Stockholm and online before and after the studies in Stockholm 
  • Study period  at SKH in Stockholm:  27 April - 24 May 2026. Studies/work may on occasion take place in the evenings and at weekends
  • Online meetings: Four (4) meetings before and two (2) meetings after the study period in Stockholm
  • Main language of instruction: Swedish
  • Study pace: Fulltime
  • Responsible unit: Performing Arts

Scenic Performance in Encounter with the Design Expression of Performing Arts for Exchange Students

  • Erasmus+ Long-term mobility, a full semester.
  • Study period  at SKH in Stockholm:  19 January - 7 June 2026. Studies/work may on occasion take place in the evenings and at weekends.
  • Main language of instruction: Swedish
  • Study pace: Fulltime
  • Responsible unit: Performing Arts

Application

The application period is 15 September to 15 October 2025. Applications are handled through our local online application system Varbi. Please note that we only accept applications and certificates through Varbi and that we will not consider any applications from students sent by e-mail or regular post.

Please upload the following documents (in swedish or other scandinavian language) for your application:

  • Registration Certificate from your Home University

  • Transcript of records of your programme courses completed so far

  • Language certificate showing your level of Swedish or other Scandinavian language

  • Letter of motivation (max. 1 A4 page): Write a personal letter describing your previous experiences and/or curiosity about collaborative creative processes, as well as whether singing, music, dance and movement are areas you would be interested in exploring as an extension of your acting skills.
