VIS Issue 12 is out!
The issue Contemporary Ar(t)chaeology: A dead-alive of Artistic Re-search and History presents seven expositions that investigate the past with methods that activate an intersection between art and archaeology. These projects are often deeply personal, based on life stories and experiences, and connected with experiential knowledge of in different fields of art. Others are driven by a desire to imagining and staging the past, thus establishing a dynamic relationship between history, the present and the future. Editors for the issue are Behzad Khosravi Noori and Magnus Bärtås.
