The up-coming graduation season features SKH’s diversity with performances, film and artistic exploration

Students invite you to a series of graduation performances and presentations of theatre, opera, choreography, circus, and film.

Over a few intense weeks, you will have the opportunity to meet graduating students in full-scale productions and artistic projects as they take their step into professional life by sharing their work at SKH and other venues.

17 April: Three master’s students in opera present their graduation projects at Hugoteatern at SKH, Teknikringen 35. During the year, they have worked independently on artistic inquiries, resulting in personal presentations where both performance and reflection are in focus.

29 April–17 May: Rotvälta, the mime acting students’ graduation performance at SKH, Valhallavägen 193. The work has been created collaboratively by students and teachers, with ensemble work and the artistic process at its core.

5–10 May: Circus students perform their graduation show Closing Acts 2026 – so long and thanks for all the fish in the Circus Hall at SKH, Brinellvägen 34. The show features 15 circus artists in 12 acts and brings together three years of training in a complete stage production. 

8 May–5 June: Performing arts students present Scenex26 across several of the city’s stages, including SKH, Dramaten, Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, and the Royal Swedish Opera. The seven graduation productions show a wide range of expressions and artistic voices in contemporary performing arts.

12–17 May: The mini festival MAKOR ANCHOR takes place at MDT Moderna Dansteatern. Master’s students in choreography present their graduation works - artistic projects exploring different processes, methods, and perspectives within choreography.

23–24 May: The graduating opera BA class performs at Wermland Opera.

1–3 June: The graduation period concludes with the Tales Festival at SKH Valhallavägen 189, among other venues. Film master’s students present films, along with talks featuring invited guests from the film and media field, a meeting point for education and professional practice.
