Graduation films on SVT Play
It is always a pleasure to announce that the graduation films made by our bachelor's and master's students will be available on SVT Play, this year from Thursday 13 June. The students graduated in spring 2023, and for a couple of days in May, their films were shown to an invited film and media industry in Bion at SKH.
At SKH we are extra proud and happy that SVT is broadcasting a total of 13 short films and animations this year. A record number! The collaboration with SVT gives our film and media students a fantastic chance to meet a larger audience – the whole of Sweden gets the opportunity to see the new generation of filmmakers. We see the fact that the long-term collaboration with SVT continues as proof that our students achieve high quality through their education.
Tinna Joné, Head of subject area Film and Media, says that the teaching and research that takes place at SKH has storytelling in focus.
– We create the conditions for all students in their various specialisations to develop their own voices and abilities to work collaboratively and exploratively. Our mission is also to collaborate with the surrounding community and it is great to be able to contribute with art as a dynamic, challenging and independent force in society together with SVT.
