Extended Narratives

Extended Narratives – immersive art and film evening at Wisdome

An evening where art, technology and storytelling come together at Wisdome at the Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology. Extended Narratives presents new works in immersive art and film, created by film and media students from SKH, among others.

The evening begins with a musical and visually immersive show in which four stories about the future of the world's oceans unfold around the audience in 360 degrees.

By combining images, sound and spatial scenography, a holistic experience is created in which the visitor finds themselves at the centre of the narrative. The project is led by researcher and artist Andrew Merrie.

The programme continues with a series of films in which students from SKH, the Royal Institute of Art and Konstfack have explored how immersive environments can open up new perspectives on storytelling and perception.

Participating students from SKH

  • Victoria Eidenvall – Art of Impact (Master's)
  • Anusha Tyson – Art of Impact (Master's)
  • Ali Quraishi – Art of Impact (Master's)
  • Anne-Li Karlsson – Animation (Master's)
  • Theresa Skaaf – Immersive Media Direction (Bachelor's)
