Tomorrow, after All

Tomorrow, after All

Shannon Cooney’s dance practices "Moveable Cinema", and "Dynamic Expansion" are scored to create a live composition in a landscape.

Distance as the central theme; in spatial relations, time, and human connection for the performers and the viewers.

"Moveable Cinema" dance practice is a cinematic live choreography of the performer, taking cues from the visual field.

Tomorrow, after All, endeavours to create a cinematic experience for the viewers via quoting film-making references such as:

  • Wide Shot
  • Planned Sequences
  • Depth of Field
  • Vanishing Perspective
  • Film-maker quoting practices

Long-view practices of self-centering in nature have profoundly calming and inspiring effects. It is with this experience that the makers share a connection over time and distance.
