Presentations from the course Artistic development for performance artists
During the course Artistic development for performance artists, students develop an artistic idea over 20 weeks.
The work has largely been carried out independently with feedback within the student group, impulses from guest teachers and guidance from the university's teachers.
Four students with a background in dance and circus have participated in the course led by Lena Stefenson, mime actor and choreographing director.

- Johanna Ziniyel Tengan
- Alexandra Jacobsson
- Frida My Roth: RÅ - an acrobatic exploration of belonging, stone and a delicate world. In between the soft and the hard, the natural and the unnatural a story of a fragile being is told.
- Adela Jordakova: The Grip - A performing arts physiotherapist and circus artist reflects on the structured principles she had built around body training - progressive overload, strength, flexibility, recovery, and discipline. These rules have shaped her work, teaching, and her own practice, all grounded in sustainability and longevity. „I teach it. I live it. I believe in it. But now, I question it.“ Through the rope, she begins to explore that question. It becomes not just a tool, but a mirror. Where does discipline end and rigidity begin? Can strength exist without softness? Can structure coexist with surrender?
The rope becomes both a conversation and a metaphor - a space to explore not only physical capacity, but life itself.
The four presentations are each 10-20 minutes long. They will take place in direct succession and will not be followed by any dialogue with feedback from the audience, but the students will ask the audience to answer a short questionnaire in paper form with some questions about what they have seen and experienced.
