Marc Johnson's final seminar
This seminar centers on presenting a plan for making public and archiving the documented artistic research project developed during his doctoral studies.
Rather than a retrospective summary, the session explores forward-looking strategies for dissemination and long-term accessibility, treating the archive as both site and method.
Marc’s research draws on speculative futures and poetic methods to engage with how memory, embodiment, and imagination intersect in technologically mediated environments. Through a combination of performance documents, poetic language, and experimental formats, the work proposes new ways of thinking about what artistic research becomes—once it leaves the studio or stage.
🎧 You are also invited to experience the audio guide to the research, a artwork titled "Poem Johnson Brain Emulation," an exploratory interface into the research’s conceptual terrain, offering a layered and voice-led encounter with its speculative and archival dimensions.
