VIS Issue 14, The Heart of the Experiment (and the Art of Failure), was published on 21 October 2025. The issue features eight expositions focusing on experimental art practices and artistic research, where the experiment is at the core of the practice and the specific outcomes of the process are not known in advance.

In this conversation, Anne Gry Haugland will discuss the role of the experiment in artistic research with guests Alexander Skantze and Marcia Nemer, based on their contributions to VIS #14.
