Open House 2025: Film and Media, Acting and Performing Arts

On Thursday 4 December, we will hold an open house at Valhallavägen 189 and 193.

Are you, or someone you know, interested in our programmes in film and media, performing arts or acting? You are very welcome to visit us when we hold an open house at Valhallavägen 189 och 193.

When: Thursday 4 December at 16:00–18:00

Valhallavägen 189

Film and media

Film and media will be screening students' graduation films in the cinema, and you can pop into the TV studio to meet our film teachers, who will be happy to answer your questions.

  • 4:30–4:45 p.m.
    Our film teachers will be presenting the film and media programs at both bachelor's and master's level.
  • 5:30–5:45 p.m.
    Our film teachers present the film and media programmes at both the bachelor's and master's levels.

If you are unable to attend in person, you can follow the two presentations via Zoom. The link will be published here later.

The programmes available in film and media this year are:

  • Two-year master's programme in film and media, specialisation in Animation
  • Two year master’s programme in film and media, specialisation in The Art of Impact
  • Two year master’s programme in film and media, specialisation in Radio

Performing arts

Performing arts can be found in the Theater, where we will be displaying set designs and other items produced in our performing arts programs. You can also find us in the TV studio, where you can meet students and teachers and ask questions.

This year, we are not advertising the performing arts programs, but next year all our specialisations will be open for application.

For those who cannot be there in person, we will offer a Zoom meeting. The link will be published here later.

Valhallavägen 193

Acting

Welcome to our building at Valhallavägen 193, where the acting programs are located. Here you can meet teachers and students who will tell you what it is like to study at SKH. Johan Forslund, Assistant Professor of Acting and Head of the bachelor's programme in Acting, will give presentations about the education.

This year, you will be able to apply for both the Bachelor’s programme in Acting and the Two year master’s programme in Acting.
