BA Circus students in the disciplines juggling, duo rope, teeterboard, Chinese pole, cyr wheel and swinging trapeze perform questions, answers, and curiosities that the their research processes inspired.

Artistic research in circus develops knowledge of our practice, using the tools of our practice.

During autumn 2025, the third-year circus Bachelor students conducted artistic research by developing methods to answer their questions through their circus practice.

Come join us for presentations of the questions, answers, and curiosities their research processes inspired!

The students were guided in their inquiry by

  • Johan Jutterström, substitute course leader for Degree Projects
  • Christina Koch, Professor of Circus, Head of master’s programme in Contemporary Circus Arts
  • Carl-Axel Holmes, Assistant Professor of Circus, Head of Bachelor of Arts in Circus
  • Martin Sonderkamp, Professor of Choreography

They also received individual supervision from experts in artistic research and performance.

Tickets will be released 10 November.
