Artist talk: Espen Wallin
Due to changes in the schedule, Margreth Olin is unfortunately unable to participate. However, we are delighted to welcome Espen Wallin, co-director and still photographer for the documentary Selfportrett, who will take over the Artist Talk on 13 November.
Fossen (1986–2019) used her own body and illness with anorexia as motifs, developing a unique visual language characterised by a strong presence, understated drama and classic lighting.
The screening will be followed by a talk about the role of documentary film as a method for portraying people's complex stories and how filmmakers can depict illness and the person behind the illness.
