Exchange studies in Teacher Education Programme in Dance

Welcome to apply for an exchange semester within Erasmus+ in Dance!

Courses offered

SKH offers you to follow courses from the curriculum of the Teacher Education Programme in Dance (year 3, semester 5). You can read information on our website to find out more about the programme.

Total of ECTS: 30

Autumn semester period:  31 August 2026–17 January 2027

Main language of instruction: Swedish

Study pace: Full time

Responsible unit: Dance Pedagogy

•    Dance 3a, 7.5 ECTS
•    Dance studies - theoretical perspectives 2, 7.5 ECTS
•    Choreography, 7.5 ECTS
•    Choreography with Didactic Perspectives, 7.5 ECTS

Application

The application period is 15 March–15 April 2026.

You submit your application via the online application system Varbi. Please note that we only accept applications via Varbi and that we will not consider any applications from students sent by e-mail or regular post.

Upload the following documents for your application (in English, Swedish or other Scandinavian language):

  • Registration certificate from your home university
  • Transcript of records of your programme courses at your home institution completed so far
  • Language certificate showing your level in English and Swedish (or other Scandinavian language)
  • Letter of motivation (maximum one A4 page): Describe why you are applying for exchange studies in Teacher Education Programme in dance at SKH and what your expectations are
  • Work sample (duration: 1.5 - 2 minutes): Film a dance material that you choose or create yourself and that you think is representative of you and that shows your dance technical ability, musicality and movement qualities in relation to the dance practice you choose to show yourself in.
