Instructions for the Work sample

Visual recorded material. The material is to evaluate mobility, movement knowledge and physical expression.

  • Length of a maximum of two minutes
  • The material will contain its original sound; no post-production
  • The material will not contain cuts, during the two minutes.
  • You will be visible most of the material; if there are other individuals in the material, make sure we are able to identify you.

You may choose between two variations:

  1. If you have recorded earlier material, you may use it, as long as the material meets our requirements above.
  2. If you do not have pre-recorded material, you can use the instructions below to record a scene based on the above requirements.

Instructions for a scene

You are in prison. A guard will soon come, to take you away. An even worst fate is wating for you…you have heard – from a prison mate – that there is a key hidden in your cell; if you find it, you might have a chance to escape.

The scene starts when you realise you have two minutes before the guard comes; two minutes to change your future. Will you find the key? Will you be able to escape.

The scene is without words.

We are interested in your ability to embody the state of your character, in relation with the instructions. How you use your body and physicality to create the drama.
