Klein Technique™ – Deepened Process

The course is aimed at you who wishes to apply the method of Klein Technique™ in the development of a specific question related to your own artistic or educational practice.

About the course

With Klein Technique™ as a starting point and tool, you will deepen and develop your own artistic question, through constant shifts between theory and practice.

The scheduled seminars are teacher-led and require your active participation, involvement of self and commitment. In addition to the physical practice, the seminars include discussions about both the practice itself and the texts assigned. During the course you will continuously present your insights in process and practice diaries.

Course leader

Karin Munters Jameson, Assistant Professor of modern and contemporary dance. She received a bachelor in Dance from Danshögskolan in Stockholm 1984. She furthered her studies in dance in N.Y during the 80s and 90s,in 1993 she started to study Klein Technique™ with Barbara Mahler and Susan Klein and got certified in 2000. Karin has been teaching dance for more than 40 years, from 2010 she has a halftime position as an assistant professor in Dance at SKH. She combines her position with freelancing as a teacher and coach in Sweden and Europe, she is a returning guest teacher at LHI (Reykjavik), TeaK (Helsingfors), Cullberg (Stockholm), Ballet de Lorraine(Nancy) among other places.
