Dramaturgy and Contemporary Performance

This course is for those who would like to expand and deepen their understanding of dramaturgy and dramaturgical creation processes.

The purpose of the course is to enable a deeper understanding of dramaturgy with point of departure in your own and other people’s artistic practice. During the course, you will broaden your conceptual and dramaturgical thinking and discuss issues relating to dramaturgy, performance and methodology.

Through lectures, webinars and independent study, you will learn about dramaturgical processes within various artistic disciplines and develop an understanding of critical perspectives and discourses in the contemporary performance field.
