Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate and innovate within the cultural sector. This course aims to deepen your practical professional competence and prepare you for both artistic and cultural entrepreneurship and research. Throughout the course, you will strengthen your ability to work with artistic and entrepreneurial challenges in both theory and practice in an experimental and critically reflective manner, advancing your skills to tackle tasks at an advanced level.

Over 20 weeks, you will engage in a blend of online coursework, practical projects, and collaborative assignments, designed to foster innovation and creativity in cultural contexts. The course is conducted entirely online, supplemented by physical gatherings in Europe. These gatherings, though not mandatory except for one day per session which is also available online, provide invaluable opportunities for networking and immersive learning experiences.

The course covers various themes critical to arts and cultural entrepreneurship, including:

Creativity, innovation and interdisciplinarity (explore the intersections of different disciplines and fostering innovative approaches in cultural practices).

Cultural and creative industries (understand the dynamics and opportunities within the cultural and creative sectors).

Entrepreneurship and artistic practice (merge business acumen with artistic pursuits to create viable cultural enterprises).

Society, art and new technology (examine the impact of new technologies on the arts and how they can be used to address societal challenges).
