Campus Total Defence
In a time of increasing security challenges, the need for knowledge and expertise in total defence-related subjects is greater than ever. Through Campus total defence, professionals and students gain access to academic education and research that contribute to societal resilience.
Campus total defence brings together academia, government agencies, businesses, and civil society on a common platform to develop and disseminate knowledge in areas such as security protection, crisis preparedness, crisis leadership, energy supply, and logistics. The collaboration aims to effectively strengthen total defence by educating future experts and promoting research that meets societal needs.
Through Campus total defence, a long-term and sustainable structure is created to provide Sweden with the knowledge and expertise required to address both current and future security challenges.

SKH is collaborating with other higher education institutions to build up the network and knowledge area Culture in Crisis and War.
Culture is both vulnerable and central in times of crisis and war. Vulnerable because buildings, works of art, musical traditions and theatrical expressions can be damaged or manipulated; central because culture can strengthen people's sense of continuity, community and meaning. The survival of culture is of great importance for society's psychological and symbolic preparedness. Artistic research and education play a central role by creating space for art and stories that help people understand and process crises and war.
SKH's representative in Campus Total Defence is Ann Kroon, Head of the Research Support Department.
