Performing Arts
We train for professions that work "around and behind" the stage with theater, dance, performance and other performing arts, including playwrights/dramaturges, costume designers, sound designers, light designers, make-up and wig designers, production managers, scenographers, technical coordinators and theatre directors.

Do you want to be a part of the performing arts of the future?
We offer a bachelor's programme in performing arts with nine specialisations that unite high quality and critical thinking with creativity and innovation. Our goal is to provide top-notch education to independent artists, with a great understanding of the importance of the arts to humanity and the society we live in.
As a student at the Stockholm University of the Arts, you will meet a corps of diverse instructors and visiting instructors who will help you to develop your professional expertise alongside your artistry. You will study in an environment suffused with knowledge, creativity and respect.
