This year's graduation films from SKH are successful

SVT (Swedish Television) has already bought the screening rights to all the graduation films made by the graduates of the Department of Film and Media, which means that everyone will be able to watch them on SVT Play in 2022.

At the gala premiere at Filmhuset in Stockholm last week, an invited film industry was on hand to watch the four films Försvar, Patient och undertecknad, Tjejtoan 4-ever and Ziba. Trailers for three of the films are available on SKH Play

Maria Hedman Hvitfeldt, Head of Department at SKH Film and Media, believes that the strength of SKH's film programmes lies precisely in the ability to find their artistic teams during their time at the school.

Hawa Sanneh (in the photo), a film production alumna, is positive about the future and job opportunities in today's film industry:
- It´s looking bright! There is an extremely high level of production going on right now, with TV series production, for example, shaping the whole industry. A lot should be produced in a short time and at the same time there is a shortage of film workers in the country.  Then we just have to find better and more secure conditions for staff and film workers. It's an industry where many people are easily burnt out too early.
