Start-up-meeting – how to apply for research funding from the Swedish Research Council

On 9 September, SKH will hold a start-up meeting about research funding from the Swedish Research Council’s call for Artistic Research through SKH. The meeting is held online via Zoom.

External and internal researchers who plan to apply for research funding from the Swedish Research Council’s call for Artistic Research 2022 through Stockholm University of the Arts, are welcome to participate in the meeting 9 September at 14.00–16.00. The meeting will take place digitally via Zoom in English and, if necessary, in Swedish.

During the meeting, we will go through important dates of the application process 2022, terms and conditions for applying, what the application needs to contain, and what kind of support you can get from the university. The application can be written in Swedish or English.

In the start-up meeting you will get necessary information about the requirements and conditions that exist for applying, and how the VR process is organised at SKH.

A seminar series will be held for those applicants whose projects ideas are suitable for the research environment at SKH (there will be more information on how to anchor your project within one of SKH’s departments at the meeting). The seminars will be held 25 October, 9 November and 30 November 2021, 14-17 and a last seminar 18 January 2022, 14-16.

At the seminars will delve into VR's criteria for project grants in artistic research. More information about the seminar series, requirements and how to register an expression of interest will be given at the start-up meeting. Be prepared to formulate a short description containing vital information of your project idea.

For internal researchers there is also the Greenhouse launched by the Research Centre this semester where you can receive inspiration and help with your project, project idea and applications. You find more information about the Greenhouse, and how to register at the intranet.

To receive a zoom-link, please pre-register to the meeting here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
