Kersti Grunditz Brennans 80% seminar

Welcome to Kersti Grunditz Brennan’s 80% PhD-seminar on methods to explore film editing, character creation through editing, editing thinking in writing, teaching and research, and on the interconnectedness of it all. The seminar will be held digitally on 20 September.

During the 80% seminar there is a screening of new short BLOD films, graphics in bright colors and a guided tour through the ongoing research project "Beyond Cut and Join - Expanding the creative role of film editing in cinematic storytelling".
Followed by a discussion with opponent Gesa Marten that eventually opens up to all attending.

Kersti researches with a focus on people and their relationships in documentary, drama and experimental film – what can editing do to invite and enhance experiencing with, for and about a story’s characters?
