Welcome to DOCH Open Lectures series of spring 2019! Meet Swiss performer and choreographer Lea Moro.

An informal "artist talk", where Lea will lead through her choreographic works from the past until now, explain her artistic interests based on videos, talking and sharing.

Lea Moro is a performer and choreographer from Switzerland, based in Berlin and Zurich. She studied at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri (BA in Physical Theatre), LABAN Centre London (Diploma in Dance Studies) and graduated 2014 from the Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin (BA Dance, Context, Choreography). Since 2014 she created five choreographic works, which are Le Sacre du Printemps, a ballet for a single body (2014), (b)reaching stillness (2015), The End of the Alphabet (2016), FUN! (2017), Their Limbs Their Lungs Their Legs (2019). Lea Moro co-founded the Acker´Festival Berlin (2013/14) and since 2014 she is part of the curatorial team for the residency program Schloss Bröllin (D). In 2017 Lea Moro received the cultural price‚ "Werkstipendium" by the city of Zurich and 2018 the cultural price of the canton Zurich. 2018/19 Lea Moro makes a further eduction in "systemische Organisationsberatung" at atop, institute of the Humboldt-University Berlin.
