DOCH Open Lectures Eroca Nicols

Welcome to DOCH Open Lectures series of spring 2019! Meet international performance art and body nerd Eroca Nicols.

Please come to an Open lecture at DOCH where I will discuss ritual and death as they relate to my life and performance work. I will be talking a bit about The Trilogy (Truthteller, Taking it to the Grave and The Reckoning) a series of three shituals (show rituals) or performanceremonies I and loves have been busy with since around 2015. And then or perhaps during, we will do each others nails. Bring your polish and a desire to cozy up to some heavy stuff.

Eroca Nicols is an international performance art and body nerd. Her alter ego and company, Lady Janitor combs the globe looking for places to incite radical moments of art chaos, consume massive amounts of coffee, wear amazing unisuits and confer with movers and thinkers of all varieties. Her teaching, dancing and training are deeply influenced in her continued study of ritual, biomechanics and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
