MA CHOREOGRAPHY: Ellinor Ljungkvist

She puts her claws in you

The topic of this piece is anger. With a very personal view the performers look at the different affects anger has on us. By writing texts about our anger to re-enact our own experiences we can be honest about issues that matter to us. We express ourselves truly, and though we confront reality we also act on the metaphorical images anger provokes.

Ellinor Ljungkvist´s artistic work is biographical with focus on women´s experiences. The documentary stories are often performed as durational performances with physical demanding appearance.

Ellinor has a background in contemporary dance and performance art. She lived and studied in Austria and Germany the past 12 years, from which time she holds a diploma from SEAD and a BA in Arts from HZT. Today she is about to receive her MA in Choreography from DOCH in Stockholm.
