Ben Fletcher-Watson på DOCH OPEN LECTURES

Föreläsningen ges inom ramen för den fristående kursen Choreographic Practices for Babies and Children.

Innovations in Performance for the Very Young

- This 2-hour lecture examines pioneering dance and theatre productions catering to the specific capabilities and needs of the youngest children. Radical choreographic practices have been developed in the last three decades which unsettle traditional power structures and question social-cultural preconceptions about what children can do, can be and can become. Works from Sweden, Australia, France and the UK will be used to illustrate concepts such as separation anxiety, vision, mobility, engagement and infant perception.
