The new digital journal VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research was released 9 April. Every Issue will feature 5–9 Peer-Reviewed expositions and the journal will come out two times a year.
VIS was released during the staff meeting 9 April. VIS is a collaboration between Stockholm University of the Arts and Norwegian Artistic Research Programme. The purpose of the journal is to serve as a basic source of knowledge for anyone who wants to learn and immerse themselves in artistic research in the Nordic region.
Cecilia Roos (Vice Rector of Research and a member of the Editorial Committee) presented VIS together with Heidi Möller (Editorial Project Manager, VIS). Two of the contributors for Issue 0 presented their projects: Stacey Sacks (Doctoral candidate) with exposition Luxurious migrant // Performing whiteness and Chrysa Parkinson (Professor of Dance) with exposition Documenting experiential authorship.
