Last chance to apply to VIS Issue 1!
Deadline for proposals to VIS Issue 1 is 1 June 2018.
Issue 1 will be devoted to the idea of ”risk” in artistic research. Read more about the theme and the submission process on VIS website.
The submission process is divided into two parts:
1. Send in a short description of your research, your CV and examples of ongoing and previous artistic research projects – latest by 1 June to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Editorial Committee for VIS chooses 8-10 proposals.
2. If your proposal is chosen, you will need to register an account in the database Research Catalogue (RC) and create an exposition with the RC publishing tool. The exposition will then be submitted for publication to VIS portal page in RC.
All of the expositions will be Peer-Reviewed and the Editorial Committee will decide which expositions gets published and featured in VIS Issue 1. Time for working with the exposition is set to approx. 2 months (19 June–1 September).
Issue 1 is published in November 2018.
Are you a potential Peer-Reviewer? VIS is interested in exploring new ideas for the process of Peer-Review in artistic research. Models that combine rigorous scrutiny of work with a collaborative and developmental process are of particular interest to the Editorial Committee. Expressions of interest accompanied by an CV should be sent to us latest on 1 June.
