Artistic Development within the Circus Discipline I - course

This course is for you want to develop further artistically in your chosen circus discipline.

This course aims to facilitate a deeper consciousness and broadening of your own creative methods and processes.

You will meet various “impulse givers” almost every week for one or two sessions that will talk about and work with, their own methods and practices with you and the other students. These sessions will sometimes be more theoretical and sometimes more physical. It will be your responsibility to take what you feel is relevant from these sessions into your own work.

A vital part of the course is for you students to “feed” off each other’s knowledge and enter into the spirit of sharing.

A teacher will be available as a mentor for each student. You will work and train independently and take part in artistic supervision with a teacher. Within the framework of presentations and group discussions, you get the possibility to develop your ability to provide constructive feedback to others in the context of artistic processes.

The course is divided into two modules. In the first module, you work out the theme, aim and method for your artistic development work and in the second module you carry out and present the work

You apply with the circus discipline of your own choice. In the selection process, pedagogical and space resources will be considered.
