Apply for exchange studies at Uniarts
Who can apply?
You can apply as an exchange student if you are studying at a university with which we have a formal exchange agreement, for example within the Erasmus+ Programme. In certain cases such Inter-Institutional agreements can be concluded at a later stage once the student has been admitted.
Call for exchange applications 2017
Stockholm University of the Arts welcomes applications to the following programmes:
For information on how to be selected as an exchange student within the Erasmus+ Exchange Programme, please contact the International Office or the International Coordinator at your home university. Applications are submitted through our online application portal. Please fill in the online application form carefully and make sure to include all requested documents. The following documents will be required
- Letter of motivation
- CV (résumé)
- Your latest Transcript of Records
- Certificate assuring that you are registered at a higher education institution.
- Letter of recommendation from a tutor at your institution.
- Nomination letter from your institution.
- Depending of the programme you are applying to: a video (max 150 MB), audio clip, portfolio or link to online material
The online application portal is open and we will only accept applications sent through this portal. The nomination from your institution can also be sent by e-mail to email@example.com
The application portal is open and the deadline for submitting your application is 18 April. These dates apply for exhanges for the autumn term 2017 and the whole academic year 2017-2018. The autumn term at Uniarts starts on 28 August and ends 14 January 2018. The spring term starts 15 January and ends 3 June.
All applicants will be notified about admission or rejection by 15 May. Admitted students will receive a Letter of Acceptance and need to accept the offer by 31 May. When you have confirmed, we will start processing your Learning Agreement in collaboration with the International Coordinator and/or responsible teacher at your home university.
The dates for the applications for exchanges in the spring term 2018 will be announced later on.
Please note that there is no guarantee that all the applicants will be admitted. The teachers and responsible persons in the admission process will assess if the applicant has the appropriate level for the programme he/she is applying for. In some of our programmes we are only able to accept one exchange student per semester.
Other exchange programmes
Other exchange programmes (such as Nordplus and Linneaus-Palme) may have other application procedures depending on the form of cooperation between the universities. Please contact the International Coordinator at your home university for more information
