      On Tuesday, October 7, we open the doors at SKH Brinellvägen 58 for Open House. There will be trial classes with dance technique, composition and improvisation exercises as well as information about the programs in dance and dance pedagogy.

    This is SKH

    Stockholm University of the Arts, SKH, offers education and research within the fields of Circus, Dance, Film and Media, Opera and Theatre. It is both one of the oldest higher education institutions in Stockholm – and one of the youngest.

      The seminar will focus on the practices and methods used in the projects “Authorship, Ownership and Control: dancers’ roles and materials” led by Chrysa Parkinson, and “The Future Through the Present”, led by Erik Gandini. Both projects are funded by the Swedish Research Council.

      Opera exchange with Georgia allows traditions to learn from each other

      Through European exchanges, students and staff at SKH can enrich their knowledge in other countries’ learning environments. Sometimes it works so well that the exchange continues year after year, as it does with the Tbilisi State Conservatoire in Georgia. The exchange project has just completed its latest three-year period, twelve years into the collaboration.

      International cooperation is an important part of education and research at SKH. Through an active dialogue with external partners and close cooperation with universities around the world, we strengthen the quality of our education and research and give students and staff the possibility to develop.

      Targeted study support

      At SKH, everyone should be able to study on equal terms and have the same opportunities to conduct their studies regardless of functional variation. If you as a student have a functional variation that affects your ability to study, you are entitled to targeted study support.
